Italian Dressing (Kid Approved)

When his schedule permits, he loves to visit classrooms and give cooking demos to the kids enrolled in Veggie U. Here he shares his kid-approved recipe for Italian dressing. It's sure to get your kids eating more healthy salads.

Italian Dressing

3 Cups Blended Oil (Olive/Canola)

1 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar

2 Tbsp Dijon Mustard

1 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce

1/2 Tsp Tabasco (or to taste)

2 Tbsp Honey

1/2 Tsp Black Pepper

1 Tsp Salt

2 Tsp Garlic Powder

1 1/2 Tsp Dried Oregano

1/4 Tsp Dried Basil

1/4 Tsp Dried Rosemary


Have kids measure and add all ingredients except oil into a blender (can whisk by hand in a large bowl). With blender on low, slowly add oil until combined (or, whisk by hand until combined).
