About The Chef's Garden

The Chef’s Garden is a small farm in Huron, Ohio on the fertile, sandy soil of old lake bottom land that helps nurture some of the world’s best tasting vegetables. Over the past five decades the Jones’ farm has evolved from growing basic row crops to the artisan growing of herbs, micro-greens and delectable vegetables used in the finest restaurants. The research team gathers seed from all over the world, selecting unique heirloom varieties for their superior flavor. The Chef’s Garden team works directly with top chefs to produce vegetables and herbs for the discerning palate – more than 1100 varieties.

   

Avoiding the use of chemical pesticides and fertilizers where possible, The Chef’s Garden is an ardent proponent of sustainable agriculture. They work in concert with nature to provide pristine products while improving soil quality for future generations.
